LAURA GOLDSTEIN

M.A., Ph.D Student in Clinical Psychology

Laura completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at York University where she is currently completing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Robert T. Muller. Laura has pursued her clinical training at Framework Therapy and Assessment Centre, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the York University Psychology Clinic, and the Family Psychology Centre. Her clinical and research interests center around trauma and attachment, and the ways in which early experiences impact mental health and well-being going forward.

Taking a relational approach to care, Laura believes in working alongside her clients, and providing support and strategies that are distinctively tailored to each individual. As a trauma therapist, she also believes that recovery cannot occur in isolation, and feels honored at the opportunity to hold space for, and bear witness to the unique and often challenging experiences of her clients. At our clinic, Laura co-facilitates group therapy in addition to individual assessment and therapy under the supervision of Dr. Baranowsky.

Ms. Goldstein s a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology at York University.  When she provides services at Bear Psychology or Trauma Practice, it is while under supervised practice with Dr. Anna Baranowsky, Ph.D., C.Psych and Anna Kozina, M.A., C.Psych.
