Rossella is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario. She received her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL after completing her Honours Bachelor degree in psychology at York University.
Dedicated to the body’s most powerful muscle (the mind) Rossella is a champion of and advocate for mental health. Her approach to care is personal yet professional and rooted in the fundamentals of trust, security and holistic well being. Rossella’s vast experience includes work in basic care, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationship issues, self harming, substance abuse, grief, alcohol abuse and notably post traumatic stress disorder; where she spent many years of her career in a PTSD & Addiction program providing specialized PTSD psych-education sessions, group therapy sessions and 1:1 sessions where she worked closely with people struggling with various forms of addiction as well as working with their families to ensure a full holistic recovery
Rossella is certified in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/PTSD, Trauma and Addiction specialist, EMDR, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) also trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Pain Terror Technique (PTT) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
Rossella is fluent in verbal and written Italian, is high functioning in stressful situations and is an active participant in organized funding activities (e.g., breast cancer research, ALS, etc.).
